The friendly staff and beautiful building stood out.

Room 15 faced the street. The fan was also loud, which only added to the discomfort, and I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. To top it off, the WiFi didn't reach my room, a significant inconvenience.

the stay was absolutely great. i was upgraded to beautiful double room by the front desk. the staff was great and the owner too. the location was central, next to bus stations, and the airport which was about 10 minutes away. moreover, the hotel was a 10-15 minute walking distance from juan santamaria park.

A charming stay in Alajuela

I was captivated by the cozy atmosphere and its fine historic design. The breakfast, served in a lovely courtyard, was a good surprise every morning.

The room felt a bit cramped and lacked some amenities like a hairdryer or kettle, which would have enhanced our experience.

It was fairly clean and the staff were really helpful and outstandingly accommodating, beds were comfortable. The setting was favourable, very close to the international airport, and markets and restaurants. Apart from that, casino fiesta was 5 minutes away by driving.

The owners were helpful, catering to all our needs. wifi didn't reach our room.

Absolutely loved the decor, but the street noise was unbearable, ruining any chance of sleep. My room was a glorified closet, and don't even get me started on the musty smell that permeated throughout. Expect special treatment? Far from it, I couldn't get even a mere upgrade.

Great location near central park and lovely local eateries (very walkable area!). The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. The atmosphere was charming and felt safe to return to at night!

The air freshener in the room was quite strong upon arrival (had to air out the room for a bit). A hairdryer would have been handy!

The 1915 inn & suites is in a prime location, just 10 minutes from the airport. The family-run atmosphere makes it feel warm and cute. The breakfast is made fresh for you, with good homemade tortillas and a nice variety. I loved the cozy vibe of this historic place.

I was really impressed by the cozy common areas-perfect, and the breakfast was a real treat with fresh juice and good homemade tortillas. The garden patio gave me a lovely spot to unwind, and the sun terrace was a nice bonus for soaking up some rays. The only thing I noticed was that the room could have used a few more amenities, but the friendly staff quickly helped me out whenever I asked.

A tranquil gem with rich history

Staying here was such a wonderful surprise! The interior is beautifully decorated. The breakfast was good, with fresh juices and a hearty plate of pinto with homemade tortillas in a lovely courtyard setting. The owner, Alessandra, shared fascinating stories about the hotel. Although it was located on a busy street, once inside, the experience felt serene and inviting.

Room was clean, tv was nice. No WiFi in my room was annoying.
